Tuesday, May 6, 2008: Prince Caspian Christian symbolism and movie news updates.
———————————————————————–
Prince Caspian, the fourth (or second) book of The Chronicles of Narnia series, will be made into a movie.
The characters Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie return in this tale, as well as the actors from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
In Prince Caspian, more than 1,000 years have passed since the four ruled Narnia, which has been taken over by men from a place called Telmar. The animals have been banished. Prince Caspian, the rightful heir of Narnia, calls the four, and they return to help him retake his domain.

That's great news to hear that Prince Caspian is in the works.
I'm sure it will be as sensational as "The Lion, the Witch,
and the Wardrobe." It will be hard to wait!
The boxed sets of
the Chronicles of Narnia are still bestsellers.

Bah. I'm a traditionalist. It's the SECOND book, not the fourth.

I am too, Tim, but people complain whether I go that route or the other way.

Off topic, but anyway:
In 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe', we are supposed to not know about Aslan. We are supposed to know as little about him as the Pevensie children. There is a quote to, but I forgot it.
'The Horse and His Boy' is happening parallell to '
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. Then its the rest of the books, with 'The Magician's Nephew' as #5. So, the list:
[The Magician's Nephew]
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Horse and His Boy
Prince Caspian
The Woyage of the Dawn Treader
The Magician's Nephew
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

Kjetil — that's the other listing of the books.
Some of us prefer it in the order they were written instead. THIS is the entire argument. We know the order events happen. We prefer the order they were written down.

Who would portray the egocentric
villian, King Meraz?
Adrian Paul (the British actor who
portrayed Duncan McCload in the
"Highlander" TV series-
Colin Firth (another British actor
who could play a villian)-
Who else could be a possibility?

Hi Lillie - I haven't read the book yet, but your comment prompts me to get on the ball. In the meantime, check this site:
